CRANSTON, R.I. (WPRI) - The PowerBall jackpot is up to $325 million for Saturday's drawing.
There have been 13 consecutive drawings without a jackpot winner since Christmas Day.
Rhode Island Lottery players had until 9:50 p.m. Wednesday night to buy their tickets, but no one hit the $255 million dollar jackpot.
The winning numbers drawn Wednesday are: 17-28-38-39-51 with a PowerBall number of 33.
PowerBall increased its ticket prices from $1 to $2 January 15, in order to differentiate the game from Mega Millions.
Organizers also hoped this would entice more people to play because jackpots get bigger faster and the odds of winning a significant prize improve.
All players should sign the back of their tickets immediately upon purchase so no one else can wrongfully claim their prize.
