Silver Alert canceled, missing man located

CRANSTON, R.I. (WPRI) -- UPDATE: Police have canceled a Silver Alert for a 71-year-old man after he was located in Warwick.

Police say Nilo Pena was last seen at 596 Laurel Hill Ave. in Cranston. They believe he left his home sometime between 4 a.m. and 6:30 a.m. and may be headed to Gordon St. in Providence.

However, police located him in Warwick sometime between 11 a.m. and 11:30 a.m. There was no word on Pena's condition.

Pena has Alzheimer's disease. He is also a diabetic who was overdue for his medication.
