CRANSTON, R.I. (WPRI) - The $1,000,000 top prize for the Rhode Island Lottery's Million Dollar Raffle Game has finally been claimed.
A woman from Bristol and her father, from West Warwick, split the winnings.
Both play the lottery on occasion and never dreamed about winning. They say they must have checked the ticket 100 times! She and her father have no special plans as to what to do with the money.
They purchased the winning ticket from Stop & Shop on Quaker Lane in Warwick.
Donna Fox of Warwick won the 2nd chance prize for the Million Dollar Raffle game. Donna entered her non-winning ticket in Rhody Replay at www.RILOT.com .
Her ticket was randomly drawn to win an all-inclusive 7-night vacation for two to the 5 Star Excellence Resort & Spa in Playa Mujeres, Mexico.
