CRANSTON, R.I. (WPRI) -- The Rhode Island DMV is now accepting all major credit cards.

The agency started accepting MasterCard, Discover, and American Express last April, and Thursday they announced that they've reached a deal with Visa.

There's a minimum $1.50 service fee per transaction. A 2.35 percent service fee is also applied to each transaction of $64 or more.

Debit cards are not accepted at any branch.
