WARWICK, R.I. (WPRI) -- Police in Warwick have apprehended a man wanted out of California.
Officers arrested William Llorens, 53, at the Village Green Condiminiums, located at 200 Post Rd. They received a tip from the California Parole Apprehension Team that Llorens was potentially residing in Warwick.
Llorens was on parole in California in connection with an armed robbery, multiple vehicle thefts and multiple drug charges. His parole was suspended in December of 2010 and a warrant was issued for his arrest.
He was arrested without incident and charged locally as a fugitive from justice. He will now be turned over to California authorities.
