CRANSTON, R.I. (WPRI) -- Cranston police have arrested five men on drug charges following a weeks-long investigation.
The Special Investigations Unit was working on a drug trafficking case at an apartment on Chestnut Hill Avenue, and at the Game Face Tattoo Shop on Elmwood Avenue. With help from the DEA and the West Warwick Police Narcotics Unit, officers carried out search warrants at the two locations of Friday.
William Fernando of Cranston was charged with manufacturing, possession, and delivery of heroin, as well as possession of marijuana.
Four other men were arrested and also charged with marijuana possession:
