WARWICK, R.I. (WPRI) - Crews are investigating a house fire in Warwick.
It broke out around 10 p.m. Tuesday on Narragansett Parkway.
Witnesses say you could see the smoke from several blocks away.
One neighbor says there was a fire in the same home last August, and the house has been vacant ever since.
"I heard a swoosh come out of the upstairs attic window," said neighbor Susan St. Pierre. "I looked up and saw smoke billowing out and I immediately went in and called 911."
Eyewitness News has learned the family who owns the home has not been living there, because they were having work done to the house.
No injuries were reported in Tuesday night's fire.
Firefighters continue to investigate what sparked the blaze.
