FALL RIVER, MASS., (WPRI) - A man escapes with cash after holding up a convenience store and threatening the employee's 7-month-old baby with a pair of scissors!
It happened at Option 2 Variety on Pleasant Street in Fall River.
The owner of the store told her neighbors the thief pointed the scissors 6 inches from her baby's back, then demanded cash.
She gave him what he wanted, then he left.
Police say no one was injured, but the thief is still on the run, and people who know the store owner say she does not have surveillance cameras in her store.
The suspect is described as a white man, 18 to 20 years old, 5 foot 8, medium build, seen wearing sunglasses and a hooded sweatshirt.
Anyone with information should contact Fall River police.
