WESTERLY, R.I. (WPRI)- A Superior Court judge is expected to rule Thursday on the proposed sale of Westerly Hospital.

Connecticut's Lawrence and Memorial Hospital placed a 69 million dollar bid on the struggling hospital.

Even if the bid is approved, the deal must still be okayed by federal and state regulators.
