Westerly DMV closed day after Tgiving
Town Hall also closed for long weekend

WESTERLY, R.I. (AP) -- Rhode Island's Division of Motor Vehicles office in Westerly is taking an extra day off for the Thanksgiving holiday.
While all of the state's DMV locations will be closed on Thursday, the Westerly branch will remain closed on Friday.
The Westerly DMV is located in the Westerly Town Hall. A spokeswoman from the DMV says that since the Town Hall will be closed on Friday, the DMV agreed to close its office there too.
DMV branch offices in Woonsocket, Middletown and Cranston will be open for regular business on Friday.
