SOUTH KINGSTOWN, R.I. (WPRI) -- A local car dealership is offering up a reward for information regarding a fire that destroyed a dozen pickup trucks.

"More than 12 of our trucks were on fire. It is not a call I have ever gotten before, I was blown away by it," said Bob Masse.

Paul Masse Chevrolet South is offering $10,000 cash for information leading to the arrest of the suspect that set a fire at the old Fred Smith Dodge on Tower Hill Road in Wakefield.

"We have never had a problem in 21 years, that's why we have the reward out now."

The blaze destroyed twelve new Silverado trucks during the early morning hours of Wednesday, June 27.

"We had another 60 cars there it could have been much worse, it could have spread to buildings or you could kill someone."

Anyone with information regarding the alleged arsonist is asked to contact Bob Masse at (401) 742-6575 or Scott Wellington at (401) 749-9945.
