SK annual Mews Gear and Beer road race

SOUTH KINGSTOWN, R.I. (WPRI) – Hundreds of runners hit the pavement Sunday for the 13th annual “Mews Gear and Beer Road Race.”

The 5K road race had a record number of runners this year, with nearly 2,000 people.

The top male finisher was Will Sanders of Connecticut, and the top female runner was Steph Riley of Northbridge Massachusetts.

The money raised benefits Easter Seals of Rhode Island.
