RICHMOND, R.I. (WPRI) -- The town of Richmond will only have two polling places for the upcoming general election.

The town clerk's office tells us that due to redistricting, the town will only have polling places at the H.L. Arnold Fire & Safety Complex in Carolina and at the Chariho Middle School Gym in Wood River Junction.

The town previously had four polling places.
