RICHMOND, R.I. (WPRI) -- A man arrested in Richmond after triggering an Amber Alert faced a Connecticut judge Thursday.
Danny Candales appeared in Wakefield District Court Wednesday on a fugitive from justice charge. He's accused of abducting his girlfriend's 9-year-old daughter on New Year's Eve in Connecticut.
A judge ordered him held on a bond of $160,000.
He's due back in court on Jan. 17.
