NORTH KINGSTOWN, R.I. (WPRI) -- A $5,000 reward is being offered for information about a fire that severely damaged a 10,000 square-foot home in North Kingstown.

The State Fire Marshal’s Office – Arson Rewards Program has asked anyone who may have information should call the Arson Hotline at 401-462-4242. Callers can remain anonymous if they do not want to provide their name.

On Friday, November 23, a fire was reported around 12:30 a.m. at 229 Potter Road. Upon arrival, officials found the house to be fully engulfed in flames.

According to The North Kingstown Fire Department, the house was vacant at the time.
