JAMESTOWN, R.I. (WPRI) - Gov. Lincoln Chafee's son is scheduled to be arraigned in court Friday.

Caleb Chafee, 18 was charged with misrepresentation after police said he was caught on camera trying to buy beer at a Jamestown liquor store earlier this month.

According to a police report obtained by Eyewitness News, Caleb Chafee put two cases of beer on the counter. Police said Chafee then got a phone call, told the clerk he had no money and would be back.

Police said Chafee got into a car with two other teens, that a detective pulled over a short distance away. According to the police report, the detective found two unopened cases of beer and an unopened bottle of Jagermeister.
