Infant dies weeks after car crash

PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WPRI) -- A small infant involved in a recent highway crash has passed away at the hospital.

Twenty three year old Sullynette Sanchez was nine months pregnant when she was killed in a three-car crash on Route 4 in East Greenwich on Sept. 28.

The baby boy survived, but was in critical condition at Women & Infants Hospital. According to a souce, Daryel Sanchez succumbed to his injuries Tuesday morning.

His mother was a URI graduate and worked at the school.
