COVENTRY, R.I. (WPRI) - It's flu season, and the Rhode Island Department of Health is urging all residents to get caught up on their shots.
A vaccination clinic will be held Friday from 4:00 p.m to 7:00 p.m. at Coventry High School, located at 40 Reservoir Road.
The Department encourages all Rhode Islanders to check with their family's doctor to make sure you and your family are up to date.
Tetanus, Diptheria and Pertussis (TDAP) shots will be available for anyone 11 years of age and older. Also available will be flu shots for anyone six months of age and older.
The clinic is being conducted by the town of Coventry along with the Department of Health. The Department wants to be sure local residents are safe should a medical emergency ever occur.
