WESTPORT, Mass. (WPRI) - Westport Police have arrested a suspect after brass vases began disappearing from a nearby cemetery in Sharon, Massachusetts.
According to police, 29-year-old Jason Howard of Taunton was apprehended on Saturday following a 2 week long investigation.
Cops received a tip from Westport Scrapyard, that is where Howard attempted to sell the vases.
In total, Westport Police seized 41 vases valued at $200 a piece. As a result, Howard is being held on $5,000 cash bail.
