WEST DENNIS, Mass. (WPRI) – Dennis Police are investigating a head-on crash that left one man dead.
The accident happened just before 1 p.m. Saturday.
Preliminary reports say a 51-year-old Yarmouth man was traveling westbound on Rt. 28 when his SUV crossed into the eastbound lane colliding head on with another car.
The man was transported to Cape Cod Hospital where he was later pronounced dead.
The couple in the other vehicle from Athens, New York was also transported to Cape Cod Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
The cause of the accident remains under investigation. Officials say alcohol does not appear to be a factor.
The identity of the victim has not been released.
