Man allegedly stole, melted necklace

NORTH ATTLEBORO, Mass. (WPRI) -- Warwick police arrested a man who allegedly stole a $2,000 necklace from a North Attleboro home.

The Sun Chronicle reports that Nicholas Delagarza of Warwick is suspected of stealing the expensive necklace, then melting it down before selling it to a pawn shop.

Delgarza was taken into police custody on Friday night. He is being held at the A.C.I. on a charge of larceny over $250.
