BOSTON (AP) -- Democratic U.S. Senate hopeful Elizabeth Warren is holding what her campaign is calling her first fall rally in Boston this weekend as the race for the seat once held by late Sen. Edward Kennedy intensifies.
Warren is locked in a tight race with incumbent Republican Sen. Scott Brown.

Gov. Deval Patrick and U.S. Rep. Michael Capuano will join Warren at the rally at Boston University's Morse Auditorium on Saturday morning.

With less the two months to go until Election Day, the race is already the most expensive political contest in Massachusetts history.

In recent days both candidates put out ads taking more direct aim at each other.
Warren has said Brown sides with big corporations while Brown said voters shouldn't be fooled by Warren's "negative attacks."
