FALL RIVER, Mass. (WPRI) - A jury found a man accused of killing a Massachusetts gas station attendant in 2009 guilty Friday.

Steven Foster, 40, was sentenced to life in prison without the possibility for parole for his role in what was prosecutors said was a robbery that turned into a murder.

The prosecution and the defense wrapped up their closing arguments Thursday and it took less than nine hours for the jury to return a verdict, according to the Associated Press.
