FALL RIVER, Mass. (WPRI) -- Classes have been canceled for a second day after intense winds tore the roof off of a school in Fall River Thursday.

Fall River Mayor William Flanagan says students will return to the classroom on Monday.

Students will attend classes in the Cherry and Web building downtown until the school can be repaired.

The roof of the Westall School building, which currently houses the Resiliency Preparatory School, was ripped off by hurricane force winds and blown into a neighbor's yard about 100 feet away.

No one was hurt, but the school building will be closed for weeks.
