NEW BEDFORD, Mass. (WPRI) -- New Bedford police are currently investigating a home invasion involving gunfire.
The New Bedford Standard Times reports that two masked men entered an apartment on Warren Street at about 9:30 p.m. Monday.
A 36-year-old man was home at the time, and the suspects made off with a safe.
According to the report, the victim chased after the culprits, and one of them fired a shot in his direction, though nobody was hit.
