ATTLEBORO, Mass. (AP) -- A former Attleboro firefighter has pleaded guilty to federal drug charges.
Michael Wilson pleaded guilty in U.S. District Court in Boston on Tuesday to possession of oxycodone with intent to distribute.
The 26-year-veteran was arrested at his home Feb. 1 by federal Drug Enforcement Administration officers and city police after accepting $250 worth of steroids and accepting 100 Percocet pills in a prearranged sale with a Cranston, R.I., man.
The Sun Chronicle reports that Wilson, who retired after he was arrested by federal agents and city police, faces up to 20 years in prison, but his lawyer has requested a sentence of about a year.
He remains free on $10,000 bond pending sentencing Nov. 2.
