FALL RIVER, Mass. (WPRI)-- The pet store owner whose shop was terrorized by a burglar is offering a $750 reward for information leading to the arrest of the suspect.
Owner Robert Schenk told Eyewitness News the suspect smashed in the front door and stole the store's computers.
Surveillance video obtained by Eyewitness News shows a suspect break into Animal Instincts Aquarium early Wednesday morning .
The suspect also went into the fish room and deliberately smashed a 180-gallon fish tank, killing hundreds of fish and coral.
"It makes me sick just to think about how many things were alive, I mean we basically just threw everything in the dumpster," he said. "He killed every single thing that was in this tank that was alive, and it will never get back to the way it was."
The surveillance video has been turned over to Fall River police who are investigating the break-in.
