Stomach bug infects over 250 students

MIDDLEBORO, Mass. (WPRI) – State officials are investigating after more than 250 students and teachers came down with a vicious stomach virus.

According to the Brockton Enterprise, A third of the students and more than half of the teachers at Mary Kay Goode Elementary School suddenly fell sick last Friday.

The school was disinfected over the weekend, though many students remained out of school on Monday and Tuesday.

Health officials are still trying to track down the source of the bug.
