SEEKONK, Mass. (WPRI) -- Police are seeking the public's help in identifying a man accused of stealing a diamond ring from a Seekonk clothing store.
Police say the male suspect asked a clerk at Kohl's Department Store on Route 6 to see the ring, which the store says is worth $9,000. When the clerk turned around, the man ran out of the store.
At the time of the crime, the suspect was donning a black baseball cap, a light-colored jacket, jeans, sneakers, and sported a thick black beard, which the clerk told police could have been fake.
Anyone with information regarding the man's identity is asked to call the Seekonk Police Department at (508) 336-7027 ext. 3.
