BOSTON, Mass. (WPRI) – Federal prosecutors and lawyers for James “Whitey” Bulger are scheduled to be back in a Boston courtroom later this week.
A hearing is scheduled for Friday, when each side can update a judge on the exchange of evidence.
Bulger has been in jail since he was captured last year in California. He was previously a fugitive from justice for sixteen years.
Last month, Bulger agreed to take the stand in his own defense at his trial .
The 82-year-old is accused of taking part in nineteen murders.
