FALL RIVER, Mass. (WPRI) - A Tiverton man will be in court Wednesday to face a charge in connection with the deadly accident in Fall River.

Police say James Murray was driving a tractor-trailer on June 19th when he struck a bucket truck at the corner of Laurel Street and Mariano S. Bishop Boulevard.

The city worker inside the bucket truck, 63-year-old Manny Marques, died after falling 15-feet to the ground.

Marques was working on a traffic light at the intersection.

Murray faces a single misdemeanor charge of negligent operation of a motor vehicle.

The charge carries a possible sentence of two years in prison.
