FOXBORO, Mass. (WPRI) -- 50 disabled veterans took to the field at Gillette Stadium on Saturday to take part in a special football skills camp with some Super Bowl champs.
The camp was sponsored by CVS Caremark and the New England Patriots especially for Veteran's Day.
"It is such an honor to do something special for these men and women who have sacrificed so much to serve and protect our country," CVS spokeswoman Eileen Howard Boone said in a news release.
In addition to learning different football drills, the veterans also received autographs, pictures with the Patriots cheerleaders, and tickets to the team's hall of fame.
