DARTMOUTH, Mass. (WPRI) -- As the remnants of Hurricane Sandy pounded the southern New England coastline Monday night, police were busy tracking down a suspected pharmacy robber.

According to the New Bedford Standard-Times , the robber entered the store around 5:30 p.m. on Monday, during the height of the storm, and ordered a cashier to hand over money from the register.
The crook reportedly arrived and left in a taxi.
