DARTMOUTH, MASS. (WPRI) - A Dartmouth man convicted of cheating a widower out of hundreds of thousands of dollars has been sentenced.
Officials say Richard Souza, 47, bilked an 84-year-old man he had befriended out of his entire estate, worth approximately $750,000.
A judge ordered Souza to serve four years in prison followed by three years probation.
