TAUNTON, Mass. (WPRI) -- Fire crews are looking for the cause of a stubborn fire that broke out at an apartment complex in Taunton.
The fire started just after 9 p.m. Sunday at the Chateau Estates Apartment Complex on Hart Street.
The Taunton Fire Department responded to the scene and fought the blaze for more than an hour.
Everyone living in the building was able to get out safely, but one firefighter was treated for a minor injury.
"Right now, I am just glad my wife and my 1-year-old son are safe. My wife is pregnant and she could give birth to our daughter any day now, I just thank God they were not home," said resident Orlando Torres Jr.
Crews are investigating to find out how this fire began, they do not believe the blaze was suspicious.
