BROCKTON, Mass. (WPRI) -- Police in Brockton, Mass. say they've broken up a massive counterfeiting ring.
The Brockton Enterprise reports federal and local authorities confiscated $126,000 worth of fake merchandise over the weekend. The knock-off items were being touted as genuine Louis Vuitton, Gucci, Burberry, Coach, Michael Kors, and North Face items.
Officers made four arrests. Lisa Perry of Brockton, Karen Nunziato of Braintree, and Mark Fasano and Theodore Rouillard both of Quincy are all charged with distributing a counterfeit mark.
The arrests were made following a months long investigation between the Brockton and Randolph police departments with the Department of Homeland Security.
