PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WPRI) - Patriots wide receiver Chad Ochocinco took to Twitter after reportedly having his wallet stolen from his rental car Tuesday night.
The attention-seeking football star claims someone smashed out the back window of his Cadillac Escalade SUV and stole his wallet, which was left in the vehicle's console along with his iPod.
In a twitvid posted online on Wednesday morning, Ochocinco addressed the thief and was visibly broken up.
"I feel like I'm about to tear up," he said in the video.
Ochocinco didn't seem phased by the news of having his car broken into and wallet stolen, but by the fact he had his prized Starbucks Gold card stolen.
"What I'm pissed about is that these (expletive) took my Starbucks card, not just any Starbucks card, I earned the gold card. Do you know how many coffees I've had to drink and lemon loaves I've had to purchase to get to that gold card?" Ochocinco said in the twitvid.
Later in the day, @ochocinco posted on his Twitter page, "Crazy I found my wallet using (Social Media) Unreal how powerful this site is, they left I.D. n credit card, but stole my Starbucks card."
Ochocinco's wallet with his license and credit cards were reportedly found in a Providence parking lot - minus the Starbucks card.
