Slayings suspect ordered back to Maine

BROCKTON, Mass. (AP) -- A man arrested in Massachusetts in connection with the deaths of three Maine residents who were shot then left in a burning car in a Bangor parking lot has been ordered returned to Maine to face charges.
Nicholas Sexton of Warwick, R.I. faced a judge in Brockton District Court on Wednesday. The judge, armed with a warrant from Gov. Deval Patrick, ordered the 31-year-old Sexton returned to Maine.
A spokesman for Bangor police said it was not clear when officers would travel to Massachusetts to bring Sexton back.
Sexton and another man face murder charges in connection with the Aug. 13 discovery of the three bodies.
Sexton was captured in Brockton on Oct. 4.
The victims are identified as Daniel Borders of Hermon; Nicolle Lugdon of Eddington; and Lucas Tuscano of Bradford.
