Shooters nightclub deadline postponed
Developers have until Nov. 7 to submit plans

Developers have more time to submit proposals for the old Shooters nightclub in Providence.
The Rhode Island Department of Transportation tells the Providence Journal, the deadline to submit redevelopment plans has been pushed back to Nov. 7.
The deadline was postponed due to Hurricane Sandy.
The former nightclub on the Fox Point Waterfront has been vacant since 2001.
