Ambulance crashes on way to hospital

Seekonk rescue hits car at Providence intersection

PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WPRI) - Officials in Providence are investigating after a crash involving a rescue.

The Seekonk ambulance was rushing a patient to Rhode Island Hospital when it hit a car at the corner of Eddy and Blackstone Streets.

A Providence ambulance was called in to finish transporting the patient.

There's no word on any injuries to the drivers of the rescue or the car.
