PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WPRI) - A test of Rhode Island mosquitoes has come back negative for West Nile Virus and Eastern Equine Encephalitis.
Rhode Island environmental officials screened 100 samples of mosquitoes from 22 different traps.
Officials still advise residents to avoid bites by wearing insect repellent and covering up at night.
