PROVIDENCE R.I. (WPRI) – Rhode Island has the 4th most restaurants per capita in the U.S with 96 full service locations for every 100,000 people.
“I have always known we are lucky to have a wide selection but yes, that's a little surprising because we are so small,” said Esther Gonzalez of Pane E Vino.
She continued, “We are lucky we have a lot of options.”
Options also means competition. When asked how they stay in business with the strong competition, the manager of Pane E Vino said, “As a restaurateur it makes you be on your game and have great service, great food.”
Restaurants have been showing off their best food for a discounted price during restaurant weeks, which end on Saturday.
