PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WPRI) - Police say the body of an autistic teen missing from Massachusetts was discovered in a Providence backyard on Tuesday afternoon.

Eyewitness News was first on the scene on Wesleyan Avenue where authorities are investigating.

Joseph Webster, 19, of Worcester went missing on March 13, according to the DA's office.

A Rhode Island State Police canine unit reportedly discovered the body in a storage container not far from the home of two suspects charged in his disappearance.

Lara Cori, 22, and James Howze, 19, of Providence, R.I. were arraigned on the charges on Monday.

“We hope that the extended Webster family can bring their son home,” Massachusetts DA Joseph Early said.

“We are still investigating the case and may bring further charges soon.”

The medical examiner's office is performing an autopsy.
