RI Red Cross headed to Florida

Volunteers to help residents prepare for Isaac

PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WPRI) - Two Red Cross volunteers from Rhode Island have been deployed to Florida to help residents prepare for Tropical Storm Isaac.

The Red Cross is also providing comfort kits in the event residents have to evacuate their homes without personal items.

The Red Cross assistance is provided free of charge through funding.
