Woman robbed in Providence parking lot
Suspect took the victim's purse and ran

PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WPRI) - Providence police are investigating after a woman is robbed outside of a city discount store.
The Providence Journal reports the 22-year-old victim was sitting in her car outside of H&M Discount, on Broad Street, Thursday night when a man held her up a gunpoint.
The victim refused to give up her money, so she claims he reached inside the car, stealing her purse. The suspect then fled down Saratoga Street.
The victim says she chased the suspect but he got away.
