PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WPRI) - The Rhode Island Supreme Court rejected Katherine Bunnell's appeal on Friday.
The Woonsocket woman was convicted of killing her 3 year old nephew, T.J. Wright, back in 2008.
Bunnell and her boyfriend, Gilbert Delestre, were both sentenced to life in prison for second degree murder.
Bunnell filed an appeal with to the state's highest court - claiming the trial judge made a mistake by excluding certain evidence and by denying her motion for a new trial.
