PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WPRI) - The suspect wanted for a deadly shooting outside a Providence car wash back in June has been captured in Florida.
Providence Police confirmed Tuesday that Jovani Torres was arrested at his sister's home in Lake Mary, Florida.
He is accused of killing 32-year-old Ivan Taveras outside Garcia Auto Accessories on Cranston Street in Providence on June 2.
Torres is now being held in Sanford, Florida as a fugitive from justice.
