PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WPRI) -- Now that the snow is down, officials are reminding residents to be careful getting rid of it.
Rhode Island Hospital's Emergency Room reported a "handful" of visits for storm-related injuries Sunday afternoon. Those visits included several complaints of chest pains after shoveling snow, and one eye injury suffered in a snowblower incident.
Lifespan officials say they have published a Winter Survival Guide on their website.
