RI gas prices up four more cents

AAA: average is $3.88 per gallon

PROVIDENCE, R .I. (WPRI) -- Gasoline prices in Rhode Island are up four cents this week.

AAA Southern New England says the average for self-serve, regular unleaded fuel is $3.88 per gallon.

That average is four cents higher than it was last week.

Locally, prices have increased 13 cents over the past month.

The current price is six cents above the national average.  

A year ago at this time Rhode Island's average price was $3.74.
