PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WPRI) - Gasoline prices in Rhode Island are up one cent this week.
AAA Southern New England's October 1 survey of prices found that the average for a gallon of self-serve unleaded is $3.96 per gallon.
That's a one cent increase from last week.
Local prices have gone up 12 cents over the last month. The current price is 18 cents above the national average for regular unleaded of $3.78.
A year ago at this time Rhode Island's average price was $3.58.
